Wilmot Redd was known for her irritability and to her neighbors, was "probably more bitch than witch". Indicted as a witch, she was accused of "detestable arts called Witchcraft and Sorceries wickedly, mallitiously [sic] and felloniously used, practiced & exercised at the Towne of Salem."
Wilmot Redd was sentenced to death by hanging on September 12, 1692.
